Sean Kearney

Hello, I’m Sean Kearney, and I’m here to offer you a friendly and confidential counselling service, providing a warm, empathic and non-judgemental space in which you can talk about anything which might be troubling you. While many clients come with issues such as grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues and physical and emotional abuse, this is not an exhaustive list. Whatever your situation, whatever you want to discuss, the counselling room provides a safe place in which you explore your feelings and thoughts and be heard without judgement.

There is no “one-size-fits-all” in counselling: it is as individual and unique as you are, so my approach to counselling with you will be personal to you, helping you identify and achieve your aims and goals. Working together, we will explore whatever experiences and issues you want to bring to counselling. Much of my work is holistic, considering you as a whole person, rather than focusing on a single aspect. Taking a holistic approach can help you gain perspective, seeing things from a new position while remaining true to who you are..

As an ethical counsellor, your welfare as a client is always my first consideration. I am fully qualified and on the voluntary accredited register of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working to their ethical framework. I am fully insured and hold a recent Enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) certificate.

If you have any questions about the service I offer, would like to discuss your particular circumstances or would like to make an appointment, please call me on 07981 950084 or email sean@hortonhousecounselling.com‬.
